Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin with Three Turku Lab Winners

Three winners from the qualifying Falling Walls Lab Turku will travel to Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin on Saturday 8 August. Vilja Siitonen (University of Turku), Eric Malmi (Aalto University) and Veli-Matti Karhulahti (University of Turku) will present their works from fields of biochemistry, computer science and media studies.

The Falling Walls Lab Finale on 8 November gathers the most outstanding young candidates from an international and interdisciplinary field in Germany’s capital, Berlin. It offers the opportunity to excellent young academics and professionals to present their outstanding ideas, research projects and initiatives. Each participant is asked to present his/her work in 3 minutes. The three winners of the Lab Finale will be invited to present their concepts at the Falling Walls Conference on the next day – together with some of the most distinguished scientists of our times.
