Falling Walls Lab Turku contestants announced!

The second Falling Walls Lab Turku will be held on Monday 10th of August starting at 11am, at Sibelius Museum.
At the event, the twelve following candidates will be giving their presentations and one of them will be travelling to Berlin to share their idea. The event is free of charge and open for everyone, please welcome to join us here about the future breakthroughs! No registration required.
FALLING WALLS LAB TURKU 2015 CANDIDATES:
1. Daniel Schimmelpfennig (Turku School of Economics/Future Studies)
Breaking the Wall of Bicycle Day or Taking a Trip
Reflective/Future oriented thinking to find novelties and transformative ideas to save us and Earth.
2. Anas Aagel Salim Anali
Breaking the Wall of Durability of Tooth Restoration
Toward enhancing the quality and improving the durability of tooth restoration.
3. Hamed Ahmadinia (Åbo Akademi)
Breaking the Wall of Accounting and IKM
My idea is to present some of the positive aspects of using an appropriate IKM system in a company.
4. Ann-Charlotte Palmgren (Åbo Akademi)
Breaking the Wall of Girl Bloggers
How girl bloggers use tactics as resistance and form a subversive agency.
5. Ruo Jia (University of Turku)
Breaking the Wall of Catching the World
By using biodegradable ‘breathing’ nets to make trash collecting easier in water systems.
6. Jake McMullen (University of Turku)
Breaking the Wall of the Math Classroom
Opening up students to the mathematics that surrounds them through mobile technology.

Breaking the Wall of in Search of Lost Myth: A Study of Alienation and Exile as a literary Construction in Parland’s childhood trilogy
My project attempts to explore the problems of alienation as an individual experience and as a literary construction in Oscar Parland`s childhood trilogy.
